Jalapeno Grill

Don't waste your time, people. This place has no customers appreciation. The restaurant was dirty and smells over the food. They are very unorganized for a little kitchen...all the meals are the same ingredients (if they have them) I ordered the shrimp taco salad (to go) 5 times and each time it was different. I told my boyfriend that I liked it after he told me he heard bad things about it, He broke down and let me order him soft tacos, and to my embarrassment, the taco meat was made with what tasted like store bought taco seasoning, and needless to say he got the worst case of heartburn, and he doesn't get heartburn often..anyway, I always tipped them $5 for my to-go order although I called my order in and only once was it ready. and they weren't busy, I grew up around that neighborhood and I often ordered to-go and was happy to have a place to eat close to my stomping grounds but now I wish they would not be there...and I will be warning anyone I know who wants to try something new, to try somewhere else..these people need to know that the citizens of ponca city deserve way better service than this. 0 on the food, 0 on the service, 0 on atmosphere...oh, the lady who is there sometimes could smile and make people's experience a little better, but seems to me that she doesn't really care..she seems miserable.

Good food that takes way too long. I don’t know what’s wrong in the back, there are only 6 ingredients to put together in different ways. We ordered burgers this time and it took over 45 minutes. Others came in to pick up to go orders and they hadn’t even started yet. When you eventually get your food it is excellent, but this place has lost how to do basic customer service. Please fix it.

Tried the avocado burger with fries. You better be hungry! It was great, good flavor and not overcooked. Bacon was crunchy and perfect. My wife tried a taco with shrimp. It was less than $6 bucks, the shrimp were grilled perfect. Not to common to feel full for less than 10 bucks nowadays. I would recommend trying this place for sure!

Ordered the Quesadilla with pollo, was not disappointed. Hoped for a lil more char on the tortilla and maybe a lil less oil but the flavor was awesome. Could have used a little more pico, guac n sour cream. All in all pleasant experience and I'll give it another try. Maybe the california burrito. I overheard two being ordered while i was there. Seemed to be a popular dish. Popular little place as well. That speaks for itself.. Ok second visit, not as good as original. @1015am I asked if breakfast was being served and they responded yes all day so I ordered a breakfast california burrito. It was served with french fries in burrito and was kinda dry. I asked for extra picante and if they count fries as hash browns. They said no, hash browns come on breakfast burrito. Suffice it to say it was not at all what I expected. As I was leaving I was asked if everything was ok. It was ok at best i said. This was just one persons mistake but it wasnt as juicy as expected and too many french fries to make up the filler. A burrito n a coke was almost 12$ so the value was not there for sure.

We have came here several times before and raved about the food. This time we decided to go eat in again. We waited 40 minutes for food and watched as several people that ordered after us got their food and left. My son's got chicken strips and fries. He got 5 chicken nuggets? And they looked so bad I immediately tore them open. They were undercooked and burnt. My husband was served his nachos, which he has gotten several times before and loved... They were cold and bland. My street tacos were cold. I realized I was never brought my horchata so I had to ask for it.... And all I got was an "I forgot." For 40 dollars we were extremely disappointed. The staff was sitting at a table next to us cussing while our children were at the table and the restaurant was dirty. But they choose to sit on their phones and represent the store poorly. We use to come in all the time while I assume the owners were working , the difference in quality and service is night and day. We loved this place and want to continue to come back but won't risk it until we know we are aren't wasting money and exposing our children to staff being extremely inappropriate.
